Wied il-Ghasel Walk 7th June 2009

Today's walk started at 5 am from Mosta Parish Church. About 40 members opted to wake up early and, from our starting point, headed towards the Tal-Isperanza Chapel after a short stop near San Anard Chapel.

After passing through il-Wied tal-Isperanza, we reached il-Hanzira and returned through a footpath towards Constitution Road and headed towards the ridge of Wied il-Ghasel. We descended the valley, reached St.Paul’s the Hermit Chapel, and continued uphill till we reached a pill box where the group had a short rest. We returned to our starting point through Wied il-Ghasel.

Walk Leader: Simon
Duration: about 3hours (0500-0800)
Distance: 10 km
