For today’s walk, about 60 members waited impatiently at the starting point. After a brief introduction by Alex, we started discovering the lesser-known valleys of Mellieha. First, we headed uphill on the ridge of Wied ta’ Gnien Ingraw and subsequently reached il-Wied ta’ San Niklaw where there are a number of troglodyte dwellings and caves. After crossing the Mellieha bypass, we passed by il-Wied ta’ Randa, il-Wied tal-Hanzira and il-Wied tar-Rdum till we reached ir-Rdum tad-Delli. We returned to our starting point through il-Biskra.
